Summary
The short version:
- 14-day money-back guarantee on your first purchase of any ZafTech SaaS product.
- Annual plans: pro-rated refund if you cancel within the first 30 days; after that, cancellation ends renewal but no refund.
- Monthly plans: no refund after the current billing period starts, but cancellation takes effect at the end of the period.
- Agency services: governed by the signed Statement of Work, not this policy.
General policy
If you are unhappy with a ZafTech SaaS product within 14 days of your first payment, email contact@zaftech.co and we will refund you in full, no questions asked, subject to the per-product rules below. The 14-day window applies to first purchase only, not to renewals.
After the 14-day window:
- Monthly plans are non-refundable for the current billing period. You can cancel to stop future renewals.
- Annual plans are pro-rated to the nearest full month if cancelled within the first 30 days of that annual term, and non-refundable thereafter.
- Automatic renewal charges are refundable within 14 days of the renewal date if the account shows no significant usage in the renewed period.
Per-product rules
Convia
- 14-day full refund on first purchase if fewer than 50 form responses have been collected across your account.
- Annual-plan pro-rated refund within first 30 days.
- Add-on credits (extra responses, custom domains) are non-refundable once consumed.
Mizan
- 14-day full refund on first subscription.
- Annual-plan pro-rated refund within first 30 days.
- One-time purchases (custom meal plans, coach packages) follow the per-offer refund rules shown at checkout.
RMS
- Monthly subscription pro-rated refund within first 30 days of your first subscription; full refund if no transactions have been processed.
- Setup and onboarding fees are non-refundable once onboarding has begun. If we have not yet started onboarding, a full refund is available.
- Hardware, printed materials, and custom integration fees are non-refundable unless the item is defective on arrival.
Anchor
- 14-day full refund on first purchase.
- Usage-based charges (API calls, indexed document volume) beyond the included allowance are non-refundable.
- Custom integration, training, and consulting fees are non-refundable once work has started.
Talos
- 14-day full refund on first purchase.
- Compute charges for executed sandboxes beyond the included allowance are non-refundable.
- Custom integration fees follow the Anchor rule.
Agency engagements
Custom engineering engagements, including discovery, design, development, and support retainers, are governed by the Statement of Work (SoW) signed for that engagement. The SoW sets out the payment schedule, deliverables, and any refund, clawback, or cancellation terms. This Refund Policy does not apply to agency engagements.
How to request a refund
- Email contact@zaftech.co from the email address on your account.
- Include the product name, the order or invoice ID from your Paddle receipt, and a short reason.
- We respond within 2 business days with a decision. If it helps, we may also suggest a downgrade, pause, or credit instead.
Processing time
Approved refunds are processed by Paddle (our Merchant of Record) to the original payment method. Most refunds arrive within 5 to 10 business days; the timing ultimately depends on your card issuer or bank.
Exceptions
We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of:
- Repeat refund requests on the same product by the same user.
- Accounts that have violated the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.
- Suspected fraudulent, abusive, or automated signup activity.
Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to our email and ask for escalation. Most issues are resolved this way. You also have the right to raise the matter with Paddle as the Merchant of Record, and, where applicable, your card issuer. Please talk to us first; we are small and responsive.
